Green Tea: The Tea with Endless Possibility

Tea is more than just a cup of hot, aromatic liquid. Tea is a full sensory adventure that includes an attraction of traditional culture, and taste. The tea experience is enriched with stories about ancient tea sagas and knowledge of how each tea leaf was cultivated and processed to evoke a dazzling aroma.

If you ask everyone on the street what they know about green tea, chances are that you will hear about health or detox trends. There are many cafes in West Palm Beach like Serenity Tea House & Cafe that provide different kinds of tea with delicious food snacks.

Of all real teas, green tea is perhaps the most prejudiced. Despite its relatively recent appearance on the Western cultural radar, green tea has a rich history, covers a wide variety of flavour profiles, and has many innate health benefits. We love it so much, we have over 30 different types of green tea leaves and their blends!

The tea leaves are dried in a basket

Like all real teas, green tea comes from the Camellia Sinensis plant. Unlike other varieties, however, green tea remains unprocessed after drying, so this type may be the truest of real teas. After harvesting, the leaves that will be turned into green tea are immediately dried in various ways, including frying, frying, or steaming.

Since the leaves are not oxidized, green tea leaves retain the greatest amount of antioxidants among real teas. Most green tea is made in China or Japan, although a few varieties are grown elsewhere in the world.

Taste spectrum

Given the variety of places where green tea is grown, it is not surprising that the tea produced has a diverse flavour profile. Here are some of our favorites!
