How does Tricare Collection work?

Tricare Collection is a government-provided health insurance program that provides military families with coverage for medical expenses.

There are three types of Tricare coverage: Tricare Standard, which covers hospitalization, skilled Nursing care and outpatient services ; Tricare Select, which offers family coverage for doctors' visits, outpatient surgery and prescription drugs; and Tricare Prime, which includes a wide range of benefits, including maternity care, mental health services and pediatric care.

The program has several important features that make it unique among health insurance programs:

– Members have the option to enroll in any type of coverage they want.

– There is no deductible or co-payments for covered services.

– Coverage is continuous regardless of whether a member is on active duty or inactive duty status (including leave without pay).

– Tricare benefits are payable even if the member's military service ends before the end of the calendar year in which the expense was incurred.

Tricare Collection is a program that allows military families to receive care from the same provider. It is also known as Tricare Prime. Families can choose to have their care from a network of providers, or they can use the Tricare Select Choice Program to get care from a specific provider.

Tricare provides healthcare for active duty military, their dependents, and retired military. Tricare offers three levels of coverage: Basic, Standard, and Enhanced. The three levels offer different benefits and prices. Tricare also has a Tricare Collection program. This program allows beneficiaries to enroll in one of three subscription plans. The plans have different monthly premiums and copayments, but they all have the same benefits.
